Terms of Participation in free challenges

These terms apply to all free challenges offered through jessica-diehl.com, currently including the Abstract + Argument 5-Day Challenge and any future challenges ("Challenges"). By registering for a Challenge, you agree to these terms.
About the challenges
Challenges are free, structured email-based programs delivered over a set number of consecutive days. Each day, participants receive an email containing a short instructional video and a targeted activity. Full details for each Challenge, including duration and content focus, are provided on the relevant registration page.
Email communications
By registering for a Challenge, participants agree to receive the daily Challenge email sequence for the duration of the program. Participants also agree to receive future communications from Publish It!, including newsletters, workshop announcements, and other resources. An unsubscribe link is included in every email.
Nature of content
All Challenge content is educational and informational in nature. Nothing communicated through any Challenge constitutes professional, legal, medical, or any other form of licensed professional advice. Participation does not create a client relationship of any kind. No guarantee is made regarding publication outcomes, peer review results, journal acceptance, or any other third-party decision.
Intellectual property
All Challenge materials — including videos, activities, frameworks, and written content — are the intellectual property of JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD and are protected by copyright. Participants may use materials for personal, non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires prior written permission.
Participant conduct
Challenges may include access to a community discussion board or other shared spaces. Where they do, participants agree to engage respectfully and in accordance with the Publish It! Community Agreement. Disruptive or harmful conduct may result in removal from the Challenge and associated spaces.
Cancellation and changes
JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD reserves the right to modify or discontinue any Challenge at any time. Where possible, registered participants will be notified in advance. As Challenges are free, no compensation is owed in the event of cancellation or change.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from participation in any Challenge, including any reliance placed on Challenge content.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted at jessica-diehl.com. Continued participation in Challenges following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
