These terms apply to all free live events offered through jessica-diehl.com, including Write With Me sessions, monthly workshops, and any other free live events ("Events"). By registering for an Event, you agree to these terms.
About these events
Events are free, open-enrollment sessions offered on a recurring or one-time basis. They may include focused writing time, instruction, Q&A, or a combination. Full details for each Event, including date, time, format, and any session-specific information, are provided on the relevant registration page.
Nature of participation
All content, guidance, and feedback provided during Events is educational and informational in nature. Nothing communicated during any Event constitutes professional, legal, medical, or any other form of licensed professional advice. Participation in any Event does not create a client relationship of any kind. No guarantee is made regarding publication outcomes, peer review results, journal acceptance, or any other third-party decision.
Recording
Some Events may be recorded. Whether a session will be recorded is noted on the relevant registration or landing page. Participants will also receive notice at the start of any recorded session via Zoom. By remaining in a session after recording notice is given, participants consent to being recorded. Recordings remain the intellectual property of JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD and may not be shared or reproduced without written permission.
Intellectual property
All materials, frameworks, slides, and content presented during Events are the intellectual property of JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD and are protected by copyright. Participants may use materials for personal, non-commercial purposes with proper attribution. Reproduction, redistribution, or commercial use requires prior written permission.
Participant conduct
Participants agree to engage respectfully in all Event spaces, including Zoom sessions and any associated chat or community spaces. Disruptive, harassing, or harmful conduct may result in removal from the session and from future Events.
Cancellation and changes
JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD reserves the right to cancel, reschedule, or modify any Event at any time. Where possible, registered participants will be notified in advance. As Events are free, no compensation is owed in the event of cancellation or change.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JESSICA ANN DIEHL PHD accepts no liability for any loss or damage arising from participation in any Event, including any reliance placed on content presented during the Event.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Colorado.
Changes to these terms
These terms may be updated from time to time. Changes will be posted at jessica-diehl.com. Continued participation in Events following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
