I am so excited for you to complete the 5-day challenge!
If you are ready,Β I'm ready to give you aΒ special offer to keep you motivated...
Before you start: one thing that will make the next five days count
At 150β250 words, your abstract is the most important paragraph you will write. Readers decide whether to download your paper β sometimes whether to cite it β based on the abstract alone.
Most papers don't get rejected because of the methods. Or the literature review. They get rejected because the core argument is missing.
The abstract is where that problem shows up first.
When the argument is clear, the abstract becomes a roadmap β for your readers, and for you. When it isn't, you can spend months writing sections that don't quite add up.
For $5, I'll read your abstract and send you written developmental feedback within 7 days. Is the argument there? Is the contribution visible? What needs to happen before you write any further?
You'll leave with a clear path forward.
$5 Abstract Review
- Developmental feedback on your core argument β is it there, is it clear, does it do what it needs to do
- An honest read on whether your contribution is visible to a reviewer
- A clear path forward for writing the rest of the paper
- Every note is mine β no AI, just close reading
What this is and isn't
This isn't a line edit. I'm not looking at your grammar or your formatting. I'm reading your abstract the way a peer reviewer will β looking for the argument, checking whether the contribution is visible, assessing whether it points to a paper worth reading.
Abstracts go through multiple rounds of revision. Most researchers don't get real feedback on them until after a rejection. This is earlier than that. And more actionable.
This review isn't something I offer anywhere else. My standard rate for this kind of feedback would be $30 β at $5, the math is what it is. I'm not trying to manufacture urgency. I just have limited time, and I'd rather spend some of it making sure you start with a solid foundation, whether or not we ever work together beyond this.
Already mid-paper? Still worth it. If your argument has shifted since you started β and it usually does β your abstract needs to catch up. Better to know now.
